 The Fast of the Traveler

Aisha (radi Allahu anhaa) reported that
Hamza b. Amr al-Aslami asked the
Messenger of Allah (salla Allahu alyahi wa
sallam) about fasting on a journey, and he
said: “Fast if you like
and break it if you like.”
(Saheeh Muslim #2487)

 

Goal:

Learn/review the circumstances of  the traveler,

pertaining to fasting during Ramadan

 

Activity 1:

Read and discuss related ahadith pertaining to the fasting of a traveler.

Saheeh Muslim, Book of Sawm (ahadith #s 2466-2483 and 2487-2493)

List as many modes of transportation that you can in 1 minute.

Play against a partner, parent, or sibling.
